About Eliza Aquilina
ATCL LTCL BCom (Hons.) MA (Lond.) MA (Essex)
​Eliza has been a full-time Drama & Singing teacher for past five years. She worked in private, public and church schools in the UK and across Europe. She taught a variety of ages, including her youngest students turning 3 and her older students taking their GCSE in Drama. During her career as a teacher, she developed fascinating lessons, directed student productions, and provided individual training to numerous students. With a 100% success rate, all of her students passed their exams, with 70% obtaining distinctions. Her experiences also includes teaching Musical Theatre and Individual Acting Skills for Trinity College London examinations
Eliza has worked closely with children with SEN (Special Education Needs) and neurodiverse needs. She taught children with a range of different abilities including Autism and Aspergers, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD (Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder), Selective Mutism, APD (Auditory Processing Disorders), SPD (Sensory Processing Disorders), and students with physical conditions.
Through Drama, Eliza has nurtured her pupils by helping them find their true potential whilst constantly encouraging them to believe in themselves and be their own best version they could ever be. She has used Drama to teach discipline and patience, encouraged APD students to perform in front of audiences, helped Autistic children deal with their emotions and feelings easily and so much more.
